What a nice little e-mail I got today. I was signed up for Creative Writing: Poetry for next semester. This was the class that I was really looking forward to. I was honestly willing to put off classes for my minor and my graduation to take this class. Just thinking about it made me look forward to next semester. But due to low enrollment, it's been cancelled. Thanks, AU kids. While you claw each other's eyes to get into whatever SIS or Polisci class, classes where you could learn something meaningful get canceled.
I'm not giving up this easily. I'm going to try and set up an independent study, or maybe take a consortium class at GW or Georgetown. Stay tuned. Or not.
