VP Debates?
Yeah, I just watched them. I won't go into as much depth here as I did last time, because I don't particularly feel like it. Frankly, and you can read as much bias into this as you want, I think Edwards seized control from the start of the debate and never let go. Some cliche political moments ("when I was a kid...", "I met a five-year old girl in Wisconsin..."), some missteps, but overall, he controlled the dynamics of the debate, leaving Cheney to sit there scowling and rebutting anything he said.
Though I am leaning in favor of cautious optimism (we all know that there will be some sort of dire "terror alert" from our friends at DHS in the days before the election), I will admit that I did not give the Kerry-Edwards ticket the credit it deserved. It should be an interesting month.
